The Freshman Mentor Program (FMP) is a comprehensive advisory program that spans the length of freshman year and focuses on helping students create and maintain connections to campus, classmates and our community. The FMP upperclassmen mentors are “trusted guides” who help students become familiar with Stevenson’s physical layout, policies, programs, traditions and personnel, while simultaneously developing powerful relationships with each freshman.

Commitment

FMP student mentors lead 20-28 freshmen in an advisory setting four days per week for the entire school year. Other responsibilities include two summer leadership trainings, monthly leadership lunches, Open House and Incoming Freshman Parent Nights.

Requirements

Sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply for mentoring during their junior/senior year after completing the application process which includes an online application video submission, faculty evaluation and interview.
