VEX Robotics Club
Students in VEX Robotics are tasked with designing and building a robot to compete in the yearly VEX challenge. The Stevenson Club competes in five tournaments throughout Illinois with the hopes of qualifying for the annual VEX Worlds competition in April.
Members are expected to attend all competitions, and attend and stay the entire length of every meeting.
Members must be enrolled or have taken a SHS Project Lead the Way (PLTW) course or a computer science course.
Each year VEX needs approximately eight freshmen to join and they should attend the informational meeting during the first two weeks of the school year. There are also at least two Saturday competitions. Contact a sponsor for more information and to learn about meeting times/ location, or visit Student Activities with questions.
Maximum 35 students
Be on the lookout for more information at the start of the school year in your PLTW and computer science courses.
