Science REACH Club

Science REACH Club helps students to complete individual or partner science research projects. Projects involve a student created and conducted experiment and analysis. Categories include physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, behavioral and consumer sciences. Projects are presented at various competitions and symposia, but mainly the IJAS Regional and state science fairs.

Commitment

Students are expected to attend the IJAS Regional Science Fair in March and go to all mandatory meetings. There are specific progress deadlines that must be met as well.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed a research project with us, a reputable program, or the Science Research course. Current Science Research students may compete without club membership.

Membership

Membership is selective and capacity-limited. Admission is based on the strength and feasibility of project proposal, relevant experience, and the number of students we can responsibly mentor.
