Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a non-profit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA members make a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through FCS education. Students compete in child development, fashion, interior design, culinary, and entrepreneurial events at the sectional, state, and national level. Students create projects to showcase their efforts within FCS coursework to compete against high schools nationwide.
Commitment
Competitions at the sectional, state and national level (if qualified), unity events, bi-weekly meetings.
Requirements
Student must be enrolled in or have taken a family consumer sciences course.
