Chess Club

Chess Club is for both serious chess enthusiasts who want to compete on a very competitive team and students who want to have fun and improve their game. Regular meetings consist of fun play, short and/or longer games, intense chess study, chess puzzles, bughouse and more.

Commitment

Club members play for fun and self improvement but team members will be expected to participate in a number of all day Saturday tournaments.

Requirements

Members must participate in Chess Club regularly after joining.

Join

Watch for announcements via campus flyers or on school social media and come to our first fall meeting. Meets in September until at least mid-February. Contact a sponsor for more information and to learn about meeting times/location, or visit Student Activities with questions.
