Does Camp Patriot Provide Food?
Where is Camper Drop Off and Pick Up?
Camper Drop Off
Drop off at Stevenson High School is between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Staff will be outside to be able to help your camper get to their groups. Specific drop off and pick up locations will be coming out closer to the summer.
Camper Pick Up
All campers must be signed out with the group when parents pick up. This procedure ensures the safety of our campers. Parents/guardians should park and be prepared to show ID when picking up your camper.
Who Can Attend Camp?
Who Are the Staff?
Our seasonal staff is comprised of high school and college-aged counselors (but we call them Role Models). Stevenson High School teachers and coaches also help lead some of our specialized activities! We work hard to keep our ratios around 1:6 during the day and even lower during specialized activities.
Will My Camper Get Swim Lessons?
Do I Have to Pay All at Once?
You're certainly welcome to pay for the full amount at registration. In order to register for Camp, you must make at least a down payment of 10% per session. The balance will be automatically charged in equal increments over the next few months. Details are listed on the checkout page and on the bottom of your receipt. Our early bird discount (10%) is automatically applied at checkout through Thanksgiving.
What If I Change My Mind? (Refund Policy)
No worries. If cancellation is necessary, notification must be in writing. You may email prep@d125.org with your written notification. Refunds will be granted on the following basis once notification is received:
- Full refunds are available before April 15.
- Between April 15 and May 15, you'll receive a 90% refund.
- After May 15th, no refunds will be given.
All refund requests must be made in writing to the PREP office at prep@d125.org. There will be no refunds or prorating for days that are periodically missed throughout a session. Refunds are not given to campers dismissed for disciplinary issues. It is the responsibility of the parent to inform the camp in writing of their child’s withdrawal from the program. Therefore, if the camp is not informed of termination the parent is still responsible for payment.
What Does It Mean to be “Relentless”?
What is the Daily Schedule Like?
Daily activities are led by Role Models and professional staff. These may include art, cooking, dance, drama, music, sports, STEM, etc.
Our schedule changes depending on the day and on your camper! Older campers get the opportunity to choose some of their activities, giving them ownership and allowing them to practice decision making skills.
Are There Extended Care Opportunities?
Employment Opportunities
Employment Opportunities
Camp Patriot begins hiring staff every November for the following summer. Open positions will include:
Counselors (Role Models)
Our camp Role Models will work directly with our K-8 campers. Job duties include, but are not limited to: singing songs, leading games, playing sports, making art, swimming, and, above all, keeping every child safe!
Camp Assistant
No one at camp is an island. We all need help and this role is exactly that! The camp assistant will help set up, take down, organize, and make sure that everything runs smoothly!
Camp Photographer
There's nothing worse than a parent asking their camper what they did that day and hearing "nothing". Your job will be to document the ins and outs of camp! We have a goal of getting one great picture of every camper every day for the parents to ogle over! We want them to see their camper having fun, trying new things, and growing. You should expect to be busy, moving all over the building to try to capture as much of camp as you can in both photo and video.
Specialists
If you have a skill that you think campers would like to learn, let us know! These include, but are not limited to, art, archery, cooking, fishing, crafts, sports, music, dance, drama, and STEM. These positions are open to faculty and staff.

A Note to Parents of Potential Counselors:
Hi! I'm so glad you're interested in your child being a part of the Camp Patriot staff. Part of what we try to encourage and develop is a sense of personal responsibility and investment in the program. What that means for you is that you should pass along my information to your child and let them reach out. I'm happy to answer questions and set up interviews with them directly.
I'm sure you're awesome! Really and truly! We're going to trust them with the safety of children. Trust that you've done a great job raising your kids and let them earn their place here at Camp Patriot!

We’ll be posting all of the pictures we take at camp on Perfect Mind throughout the summer! For the safety and security of all campers, these pictures are only accessible to registrants, but you’re welcome to download and share the pictures of your camper with friends and family! We also will be posting some pictures daily on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
