Tryout Date

• Tryout Dates: Oct. 30 - 31, 2023
  • Athletes should plan to attend both days.

• Freshman and Freshman/Sophomore Tryouts will be in the Fieldhouse on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 from 3:45 - 6 p.m.

• JV Tryouts will be in the Sportscenter on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 from 3:45 - 6 p.m.

• Varsity Tryouts will be in the Sportscenter on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 from 3:45 - 6 p.m.

Informational Meetings

• ALL GIRLS interested in trying out for basketball are invited to attend an informational meeting on October 5th Contact Coach Carmichael at rcarmichael@d125.org if you are unable to attend, or have any questions.

Registration

• Every athlete is required to register before they can participate in a tryout.

Head Coach Bio

Regan Carmichael

Regan Carmichael has been named the Head Girls Basketball Coach for Stevenson High School. Carmichael most recently served as an assistant girls basketball coach for New Trier High School from 2019-2023 and for one year at Resurrection High School.

A native of Park Ridge and a four-year member of the Maine South basketball squad, Carmichael lettered during three seasons and served as the Hawks’ team captain in 2012-13. She was All-State honorable mention and All-Conference as a senior, averaging 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.0 steals.

Regan also excelled in softball, lettering twice and garnered All-Area and All-Conference honors in 2012. Not only did Carmichael excel on the court, but she also excelled in the classroom, collecting Scholar-Athlete laurels in basketball and softball.

After graduating from high school, Regan started her college basketball career at St. Louis University, where she was named to the Atlantic-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester and played in 14 games. After her Freshman year at St. Louis, Carmichael transferred to St. Norbert College, where she continued her decorated basketball career earning Midwest Conference first team All-Conference her junior year and helped lead St. Norbert to a 21-5 record and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
