Odyssey is the journey. You are the art.

Since 1996, Stevenson has celebrated fine arts at the Odyssey Festival, welcoming thousands of guest artists to perform, teach workshops, and inspire creativity on campus. Over 30 years and 15 biennial festivals, Odyssey has been a proud tradition and the highlight of many students’ high school experience.

Recognizing the opportunity to evolve Odyssey for a new generation, an 18-month development process captured input, memories, vision, and values from Stevenson students, staff, faculty, and guest artists.

The Odyssey Arts Education Program is the result of those efforts. With a comprehensive, balanced, 4-year learning approach, the program will empower students to explore the arts as a path to self-discovery, community connections, academic growth, and lifelong creativity.

The Odyssey Arts Education Program is coordinated by Fine Arts Manager Amanda Peterlin and Director of Fine Arts Jon Grice.

Every Stevenson employee plays a role in Odyssey’s success, with special acknowledgment to the Fine Arts Division, Data Processing, Administration, Communications, Operations (including the Sodexo, Security, IT, AV, and Theater Tech teams), and all the SHS Faculty and Staff who advise, teach, perform, supervise, and participate in the festival.
