The Board of Education at Stevenson High School has unanimously approved the appointment of D’Wayne Bates as the school’s next athletic director, effective July 1, 2025. His appointment will follow the retirement of longtime athletic director Trish Betthauser, who has served at Stevenson for more than 20 years.
The District 125 Board of Education on Monday, August 17, 2020, appointed Fei Amy Shang to fill the vacancy created by a recent resignation. Shang was selected to complete the four-year term of Sunit Jain. Jain resigned on July 4, 2020.
Stevenson will begin the 2020-21 school year with remote learning for all students.
