During the past week, Stevenson hosted the Regional Science Fair. Students presented their independently run experimental and design projects covering 20 different subject categories.

On Wednesday evening 62 students presented their 52 projects to judges using a slide format. Seven projects were presented by ten Stevenson students, including Zainab Petiwala, Ishika Mathur, Nikhil Gangaravarapu, Chloe Xu, Florence Lee, Benjamin Fei, Janardhan Vasireddy, Rishi Jagannath, Karen Rodrigues and Medha Modekurti.

Five projects, from Zainab Petiwala, Ishika Mathur, Nikhil Gangaravarapu, Chloe Xu, Karen Rodrigues, and Medha Modekurti, and Rishi Jagannath earned both gold-level awards and invitations to present at the state fair on May 3 at Millikin University, with Chloe Xu also earning a best paper award.

On Saturday, approximately 600 junior high and high school students presented 425 experimental and design projects covering various topics and interests. Students used 3-panel display boards to present their work to potentially different groups of judges. There were over 200 adult judges in attendance judging all of the projects, representing organizations that provided special wards, and evaluating project reports to determine EPIC (Exceptional Project In Category), and ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair). Stevenson was represented by 47 students presenting 35 projects. Participants included Chloe Xu, Florence Lee, Benjamin Fei, Rucha Rajadhyax, Tanvi Shitole, Anushka Rotiwar, Ishanvi Mishra, Deepti Hedge, Shraddha Karpoor, Ranya Rajesh Prasad, Abithu Dodda, Pranav Venutur, Aditya Gupta, Malhar Bhide, Nitin Bright, Agastya Choudhary, Aditi Bhatia, Nidhi Kirani, Debarghya Roy, Shrihan Tummala, Amritha Praveen, Shaurya Agrawal, Yashwanth Ravipati, Shreyas Narayan, Prithvi Mulabagal, Zainab Petiwala, Ishika Mathur, Samarth Donapati, Arav Kesaria, Shipra Jha, Rishi Gupta, Arya Pore, Janardhan Vasireddy, Nikhil Gangavarapu, Karen Rodrigues, Medha Modekurti, Ira Sidhani, Hana Shamsudeen, Ishani Gupta, Sadhana Shree Anbazhagan, Adil Shamsudeen, Naomi George, Riddhi Mallela, Qi Zheng, Aarushi Tiwari, Smriti Kumar and Meghana Mandava.
