Spirit Revolution Helping Misericordia
September 20, 2012

Spirit Revolution is conducting its annual charity event this month, with Misericordia as the beneficiary. Misericordia (
http://www.misericordia.com) is a Chicago-based organization that is home to more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities, offering special services, programs and therapies that meet the needs of each resident.
Spirit Revolution will be selling T-shirts during lunch periods from September 24-28, with proceeds going to Misericordia.
Spirit Revolution also raised money for Misericordia through its annual clinic for children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade on Saturday, September 8. One hundred and twenty kids came to the clinic, who learned basic cheerleading and dance skills from coaches and team members of the cheerleading and Patriette squads. The children also learned a halftime routine that they will perform at halftime of the varsity home football game on Friday, September 28. Proceeds from the clinic are being donated to Misericordia.
