About PPA
The Patriot Parent Association (PPA) is a working community of parent volunteers. Our goal is to provide a support system that enriches our student's high school experience in a number of ways. We offer voluntary services, facilitate communication, administer social activities, and raise funds as needed, all to benefit and support for over 4,500 Stevenson students, faculty and administration.
What has your PPA done for you lately:
Our goal is to use our volunteer and financial resources to support school activities that will benefit as many students as possible. The following is a list of recent purchases and/or contributions made through the supporting efforts of the Stevenson High School PPA.
- iPads supplied in both the World Language Department and the new Learning Center.
- Digital cameras in the Communications Department.
- Artist in Residence mural for the new Learning Center.
- Speakers, mixing board and lighting upgrade in the Performing Arts Center.
- Organized and funded the Freshman Mixer, SHOWCASE and Senior Class Party entertaining and involving over 1,000 students!
- Provided financial and/or volunteer support for Freshman Orientation, Homecoming, the PAT Triathlon, Prom, Snowball and World's Fair.
- Provided the wildly popular COOKIE DAYS!
- Raised funds and purchased a NEW Light Board for the Performing Arts Center.
- Raised funds and purchased a NEW Mini-bus for the school.
- Re-designed and produced the Family Directory to provide an invaluable resource for all PPA families.
- Raised fund and purchased KINDLES as well as electronic books to be used by students in the school library.
- Raised funds and purchased items for the Student Activities club as well as Principal's Wish List.
- The PPA holds two (2) breakfasts' for over 600 Stevenson faculty members on behalf of all Stevenson families.
