"Hoops for Hope" Set for Wednesday

Stevenson High School’s Relay for Life committee is holding a "Hoops for Hope" event at the sophomore and varsity boys basketball games against Lake Zurich on Wednesday, February 8 in the Sports Center. The sophomore game begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7.
Club members will be selling purple Stevenson T-shirts with a cancer ribbon logo during all of the lunch periods Monday through Wednesday, February 6-8. The T-shirts will be $5, and will be worn at the games to create a "Purple Out" in the stands. There also will be a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle and a free throw contest at halftime. All profits and donations collected will go to the American Cancer Society during our co-hosted Relay for Life fundraising event at Stevenson on June 15.
