Spotlight on Stevenson 2010-11 Lineup
David Garibaldi
October 16, 2010 • 7:30 p.m.
Performing Arts Center
Live your life as a platform, and live with passion and purpose. This is the foundation of David Garibaldi’s message, which he gave to rare reviews at this year's Odyssey fine arts festival. He is so much more than a painter, so much more than a performance artist. With roots in street graffiti and Hip Hop culture, Garibaldi found influence in music and performance artists such as Denny Dent. His current act is a multi-media extravaganza, enjoyed by many as an opening act for Blue Man Group. Infused with his stories of personal struggle and ultimate triumph, David Garibaldi’s "Rhythm and Hue" is sure to thrill all who are lucky enough to see him perform.

Tom Sadge as Neil Diamond
January 29, 2011 • 7:30 p.m.
Peforming Arts Center
Tom Sadge is a popular vocal impressionist who has sang the songs of Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Engelbert Humperdinck, Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Johnny Cash and many others. However, the last 12 years he has devoted his career to focusing on the music of Neil Diamond, to great acclaim. Sadge's look-a-like and sound-a-like tribute to "The Jazz Singer" is a favorite of the most discriminating Neil Diamond fans. In fact, during a 2002 concert in Pennsylvania, Neil leaned over the stage and, pointing to Tom, told the crowd of several thousand "This guy sounds just like me!"

Astonishing athletes defy gravity and execute breathtaking feats as they stretch the limits of human ability in this spellbinding show. Fearless performers with boundless energy bring you more than 2,000 years of Chinese circus traditions. If it's humanly possible — and even if it's not! — Shanghai's acrobats, jugglers and contortionists do it with spectacular flair. From jugglers to comic knife throwers to the bicyclist who finishes by piling about 10 of his colleagues aboard his vehicle — it's hard to single out any one act as the best!
