Stevenson High School Football Mission

The mission of the Stevenson High School Football program is to provide every player with a positive/quality football experience. Each player should understand the importance of commitment, effort, perseverance, and teamwork. Each player will handle all victories with grace and handle all defeats with sportsmanship. The following are also very important components to our mission:

* Players are students first, must stay academically eligible, and should academically achieve to their abilities.

* Players must be responsible citizens of the school and the community and will represent the football program with pride.

* Players understand that football is a team game and everybody will have a role fulfilling the team concept.

* Players and coaches will strive to win the North Suburban Conference Championship.

* Players and coaches will strive to enter the IHSA Football Playoffs.

* Players and coaches will strive to win the Class 8A State Championship.

* Coaches will play an active role in preparing and promoting the players to continue their education and possibly their football careers beyond high school.
