New Vaccination Requirement for 2012-13
The state has added a new vaccination requirement beginning with the 2012-13 school year that will affect many new and returning Stevenson students. The new requirement stems from an increase in the number of pertussis (whooping cough) cases in Illinois. Details >>
Sports Boosters Seeks Team Reps
Sports Boosters is looking for parent volunteers to serve as a Team Representative for their son or daughter's sport. Team Representatives should be Sports Booster members and will be asked to attend the monthly Sports Booster meetings held the second Wednesday of each month (excluding December) at 5:30 p.m. in the West Faculty Dining Room. In addition, they will be asked to assist with membership, spirit wear sales, and/or concessions. If interested, contact Athletic Director Trish Betthauser at tbetthauser@d125.org.

Two hundred and forty-three students in the Classes of 2013 and 2014 were inducted into the National Honor Society. ... Seven students earned perfect scores on the ACT college entrance exam this spring. ... Physics teacher Dave Eddy was honored by the Abbott Laboratories chapter of the Sigma XI Scientific Research Society. ... Forty-three members of the Class of 2012 were presented with scholarships and awards during the SHS Foundation’s seventh annual Local Scholars Reception. ... Seven students took part in a national math competition with peers from around the Chicago area.
