Benchmark Exams for Incoming Freshmen

All incoming freshmen are required to take benchmark exams in English, mathematics and, if appropriate, World Languages to determine course placement for the first year at Stevenson. The first round of benchmark exams were administered in January. Students who missed the testing dates, or who wish to be re-tested, may take benchmark exams on Saturday, May 5 at SHS. Testing will take place in the West Building (Entrance #1, parking lot B). The math exam begins at 8 a.m., followed by English at 9 a.m. and World Languages at 11 a.m.

Make-up and re-testing will be available for English and mathematics on Thursday, August 9. Only make-up testing will be available for World Languages on August 9.
