The cost of the ACT exam is $34. For those who want to take the optional Writing test, the cost is $49.50. Students may register online at
the ACT website. A limited number of registration packets are available in the College/Career Center (Room 1123).
Note: Juniors sit for a mandatory ACT on the first day of the
Prairie State Achievement Examination. Results are "official" and can be used for college admission purposes. Registration for this ACT is administered by Stevenson.

The cost of the basic SAT exam, called the SAT Reasoning Test, is $50. Additional subject tests can be taken for a fee. Students may register online at
the SAT website. A limited number of registration packets are available in the College/Career Center (Room 1123).
Note: Sunday administrations of the SAT exam usually occur the day after each Saturday test date for students who cannot test on Saturday due to religious observance.
