T.Y.M.P. / Math Team

Eligibility Requirements
Students wishing to join the Math Team must be currently enrolled in an honors mathematics class and in T.Y.M.P.

Time Commitment
T.Y.M.P. classes meet 4 periods a week.  In addition, there are weekly Math Team meetings after school during second semester.  Math Team competitions are held outside the school day.
September - May.

Meets
During lunch periods.  Seniors meet 8th Hour.

Procedure For Joining
Contact your math teacher, a sponsor, or the Math Director.

Description

Math Team is an enrichment program for mathematically talented students.  Students are exposed to nonstandard challenging math topics.  Enrollment in T.Y.M.P.  is a first step towards being invited to join the competition Math Team.
