Students Helping Soldiers
Eligibility Requirements
Membership in Students Helping Soldiers is open to all students who have a desire to show support for service members abroad, veterans, and their families.
Time Commitment
At least 1 hour per week.
September - May.
Meets
Check our on-line calendar for specific information about activities and events. Meetings take place in Room 5044.
Procedure for Joining
Membership is open throughout the school year. Simply attend a club meeting or contact the sponsor.
Description
Club members write letters and send care packages to troops. Other events include raising money and awareness for veterans and service members, Freedom Fest, a 9/11 ceremony, Paint-a-Thon, bake sales, Hoops for Heroes, veteran clothing drive, and much, much more!
