Spirit Fest Raised over $20,000 and Set A World Record
An estimated 1,300 people attended the 2011 Spirit Fest, and raised at least $20,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Lake County. In addition, 826 people holding glow sticks spelled "CASA," easily breaking the Guinness World Record for largest glow stick design. The previous record of 308 people was set in Canada earlier this year. The exciting night was capped off by an amazing Firework display. Congrats to the Stevenson community and for the National Honor Society Spirit Walk Committee for such a successful event.
