Melange

Eligibility Requirements
Open to freshmen through seniors by audition. Mélange dancers demonstrate strong technical skill in Modern Dance and are proficient in other dance forms. Mélange dancers also demonstrate creativity and the ability to choreograph. Dancers must be enrolled in a SHS dance class (with the exception of freshmen not placed in advanced dance). Mélange dancers perform in the winter and spring dance concerts and possible off-campus performances including the Fine Arts Tour.  Dancers must be enrolled in a SHS dance class.

Time Commitment
Approximately 8-9 hours a week plus performances.
September - May.

Meets
Three days a week after school.
Room 2010 & 2112.

Procedure For Joining
Audition required.  General auditions held in May.  Placement auditions held in August.  Call Dance Dept. at x4750.

Membership
Varies.
