Jazz Band I

Eligibility Requirements
Proficiency in music reading and performing  on an appropriate instrument.

Time Commitment
4 hours per week. Performances may occur evenings or weekends.
August - May.

Meets
Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
Room 2203.

Procedure For Joining
Auditions are held the first full week of school.  See Mr. Slepak by 3rd day of school.

Description
The Jazz Bands perform at various concerts, contests, school functions, and community events throughout the year.  Instrumentation follows traditional big band scoring.

Membership Limit
24 students.
