Eligibility Requirements
All Stevenson students are all welcome to host. To travel, students must be freshmen, sophomores or juniors. While some knowledge of German is helpful, it is not required.
Time Commitment
Participating students will host an exchange student from Germany for three weeks in the spring, and will
travel to Germany for three weeks in the summer. There will be a series of planning and orientation meetings to prepare for hosting and traveling.
Hosting: 3 weeks in March/April.
Travel: 3 weeks in June/July.

Attend informational meeting in the fall and listen to morning announcements. Contact Dean Weil for additional information.
Description
Since 1974, Stevenson has maintained a cultural and educational exchange with Max Born Gymnasium, an academic high school in a suburb of Munich. Participation in this exchange offers students a chance to acquire an appreciation for another way of life, an understanding of cultural differences and similarities, and an opportunity to develop as a mature individual who can function with confidence in an international setting. The exchange takes place every other year in the spring.
