Eligibility Requirements
FEA is open to all students interested in pursuing or learning about a career in education.
Description
The purpose of FEA is to encourage students to pursue careers in education. FEA offers opportunities for students to interact with educators, discuss different facets and trends in education, and to experience different teaching opportunities within the Stevenson High School community.
Time Commitment
Will vary depending on activities including meetings, tutoring, and shadowing. Tutors must attend two monthly meetings per semester and tutor weekly.
September - May.
Meets
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays after school in Room 1714. Thursdays after school at Ivy Hall Elementary School. Thursdays before school at Ivy Hall for shadowing.
Procedure for Joining
New members may join at any time during the course of the school year by attending a meeting or contacting a club sponsor. The tutoring program begins at the start of the school year. Tutors and shadowing participants must join the start of the semester.
Membership Limit
No limit for general members. The limit for tutors and shadowing participants is determined by availability at Ivy Hall Elementary School.
