300 Club
A Prestigious Graduation Honor For Seniors
Stevenson encourages all students to begin completing community service activities when they enter Stevenson High School as a freshmen. As students progress through the grade levels, we encourage them to sign up for service events on uGIVE and monitor their service resumes. In their senior year, students can print one last uGIVE resume which will show all four years of their giving efforts. If students are completing service OUTSIDE of the uGIVE system, we encourage them to download the service hour verification form below and get signed verification of their service completed. Students should keep their resumes and service verification forms in a binder at home.
SENIORS ONLY may apply for the 300 Club if they have accumulated 300 or more service hours during their 4 years in high school. The guidelines of acceptable community service hours are below. Seniors that are accepted into the 300 Club will receive a special tassel to be worn at their graduation ceremony.
In its work to create both lifelong learners and lifelong citizens, Stevenson High School has created an honor for those students dedicated to serving their community. Students who serve 300 or more hours of service over the course of their studies at Stevenson will be designated as 300 Club honorees during the commencement ceremony. In order for Stevenson students to be granted service hours in the 300 Club, the following criteria must be met:
* Service activities are done on behalf of others (not including immediate family members).
* The primary intent of the activity is to aid and assist others for the good of the community.
* No compensation (grade, class credit, monetary or other) has been given.
* Service activities must be done outside the school day or during unscheduled time.
* The acts of service must promote the values incorporated in the Stevenson High School Vision
and Values Statement.
In keeping with these criteria, contributions students make both to the school and the greater community can be recognized for entry into the 300 Club.
In 2010 Stevenson High School began utilizing an online community service registration and verification program called uGIVE (www.ugive.org). Every student in the school has a login and password that was mailed to their First Class email. If you did not receive this email or forgot your password, please go to
www.ugive.org and click on "forgot password" in the upper right hand corner. You will type in your First Class email and uGIVE will email you the password.
Students sign up for service events online and the verification of those hours are handled in a paperless manner by adult supervisors. The students are able to track their own hours in real time and may print a "service resume" at any time as proof of verification.
When applying for the 300 Club, students may submit a "service resume" for all service verified on uGIVE. For all other service that occurred before 2010-2011 or service that was completed outside of the uGIVE system, students may submit service hour verification forms that can be downloaded here.
