Classical Drama Workshop Covers Euripides

Students in Stevenson High School's Classical Drama course will present their end-of-semester workshop at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31 in the Studio Theatre. The venue is located in the West Building by the Sports Center entrance; those attending may park in lots B or E.
The students will perform Robinson Jeffers’ adaptation of "Medea," the ancient Greek tragedy by Euripides. The play is based upon the myth of Jason and Medea, in which the latter plots revenge against the former leaving her for another woman.
Students scheduled to perform include: Jessica Daly, Sydney Canon, Erica Smolinski, Lauren Prather, Nikki Sherman, Sara Mahini, Dylan Projansky, Hannah Perl, Rachel Landsman, Austin Vitaliano, Aidan Murphy, Julia Trevor, Grace Hannon-Geller, Josie Foster-Gimbel, Lara Braverman, Matty Reitman, Jacob Shellist and Joel Glickman.
The class instructor and director is Cynthia Lynch. Her student teaching assistant is Lizzie Docel. The technical director is Stephen P. Carmody.
