Boys Hockey vs. Loyola, HIT Semifinals

Stevenson 2, Loyola Gold 1: Sam Schmaren made 29 saves as the Patriots (30-9-5) upended the Maroon in the High School Invitational Tournament semifinals. Vince Moschea's third-period goal proved to be the game-winner for SHS. Grady Suerth also scored for Stevenson. Tommy Schroeder had an assist. The Pats will face the winner of the New Trier Green-Barrington game for the HIT championship.
