The following rehearsals and performances are ESSENTIAL COURSE REQUIREMENTS. As such, every band member MUST PARTICIPATE IN THESE EVENTS TO RECEIVE A PASSING GRADE IN BAND COURSES.

Oct 10 WED 3:30-9:00 V IMEA District Band/Orch/Jazz Auditions (Zion-Benton HS)
Oct 14 SUN 3:00 pm V Tri-M Induction Ceremony for Jr. & Sr. Tri-M Members only
-ADDITIONAL performances may be added for Marching Band @ Football Playoffs. Attendance is required at Playoff games. Possible Playoff dates: Fri-or-Sat 10/26or 27; 11/2 or 3; 11/9 or 10; 11/16 or 17; 11/24 (State).

Nov 20 TUES 6:30 pm M Chamber Recital- All Honor & Adv. Symphonic Band members
[Dec-Feb (dates TBA): members of Honor Band and both Symphonic Bands will be assigned to 4 basketball games as members of one of four Pep Bands. Basketball dates will be published when available.]

Feb 24 SUN 3:00pm M WINTER CONCERT (All 5 Bands)
Mar 1-5 FRI-TU All Day V Band Trip to New York City
Mar 23 SAT All Day V North Shore Solo and Ensemble Contest (@ Northwestern U)
Apr 5 FRI 7:30pm V "Evening Of Jazz" Concert (Jazz Bands & Vocal Jazz Ensembles)
