Stevenson at IHSA State Finals: James Lichtenstein finished third in diving and Langston Fitts posted a pair of fourth-place finishes, as the Patriots tied Lake Forest for 10^th place in the team standings. Lichtenstein, a junior, had the best showing ever at state by a Patriot male diver, and became only the third to earn a medal. The previous best finish in diving was seventh place by Sean Vallely in 2007. Fitts, meanwhile, ended his prep career by taking fourth in the 50 free (21.28) and 100 free (46.63), and joining classmates Chris Hodges, Ryota Kuwahara and Daniel Shtivelberg for 11th place in the 200 free relay (1:27.32). Fitts and Kuwahara also won a medal in 2010 with the 400 free relay team that placed 12^th.
