Theatre
The Theatre Department features a sequential curriculum that allows students to investigate the social and historical context in which they live, form aesthetic judgements, and develop the discipline of the artist. The ultimate goal is to promote appreciation of the art, as well as a more sensitive and reflective understanding of the human condition.
Theatre Department moves to Standards-Based Grading for Acting 1 students.
The Theatre Department is moving to a new assessment practice called Standards-Based Grading. The purpose of standards-based grading is to raise achievement by clearly communicating students' progress toward learning targets.
