ILC Mural Project
Attention all artists who have submitted a proposal: A committee is currently revieiwing the large amount of mural proposals.
We will be in contact with all of the artists that have submitted by mid- October to discuss the next phase of this project. Thank you for your patience during this time.
Stevenson High School is installing a mural near the entrance of its Information and Learning Center. The mural theme will be "Learning, Creativity and Innovation." The mural will be created by an artist who will work primarily on campus during the 2011-12 school year, interacting and providing enriching experiences for SHS students throughout the process.
The wall on which the mural will be installed measures approximately 25 feet wide by seven feet high, and sits above a grand staircase that also serves as ampitheatre-style seating.
Funding for the project is being provided by a grant from the
Patriot Parent Association.
The deadline to submit proposals was September 9, 2011.
