College to Career Programs Helps Young SHS Alumni

On July 18, the SHS Alumni Association and the Stevenson Foundation co-hosted a workshop entitled "From College to Career." Focused on job search training, the class was geared towards Stevenson alumni who are recent college grads or college upperclassmen. Leading the workshop was Bob Placko, retired senior vice president of human resources at Motorola and career management coach at Carthage College. Class evaluations by alumni who attended indicated the class was highly valuable, and we look forward to offering our alumni more programs like this in the future!
