Student Services
This is the page to be at if you want to know who's who and what's what in the Student Services Department. The Student Services Department contains the school personnel who assist students as they mature and develop during their high school years. Student Services personnel are counselors, deans, social workers, college consultants, guided study and mentor teachers, and all of the important people who work behind the scenes such as registrars, nurses and the substance abuse prevention team. Information pertaining to all of these people can be found at this site, as well as calendars and a check list of graduation requirements. Just visit the sites listed below.

NARROWING YOUR OPTIONS
A letter was mailed home to every junior family in late December inviting them to a NYO-- an individual thirty-minute college counseling appointment with a post-secondary counselor. In order to accommodate every member of the Class of 2011, families will be limited to one NYO appointment. Post-secondary counselors are available on select dates from February through the end of June; for the convenience of some families, appointments are available on six Saturdays in the spring. Appointments will be made on a space-available basis; traditionally, Saturday appointments are the first to be chosen. The deadline for making a "Narrowing Your Options" appointment is Friday, April 23rd .
To schedule a NYO:
1) Junior & parent should complete the
College Planning Worksheet.
2) Return the completed form to Mrs. Hedberg in the College/Career Center by:
a. bringing it to the CCC (room 1123)
b. faxing it to 847-634-6015
c. emailing it as an attachment to
rhedberg@d125.org
3) Once we have received your completed worksheet, we will call to schedule your NYO appointment, so we encourage you to have a few dates in mind. Again, we must have a completed worksheet in order to schedule an appointment.
