Because all passing periods are 10 minutes during exams, there will be no "traveler's bell." All students should be in class at the posted starting time. Students may not be in the academic hallways during exam periods without a signed pass from a teacher.

RESCHEDULING EXAMS:  Students may reschedule exams if they have three in one day. To reschedule, a parent must call or email the teacher of the course for approval. The rescheduled exam must be completed within the three-day exam period. Students seeking to take an exam prior to or after the three-day exam period must contact their counselor, who will coordinate the request with the Student Services Division director.

BUS SERVICE:  Normal bus pick-up times will be in effect before 8 a.m. on exam days. Buses will bring students home after the last exam on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4-5, and after the second and third exam periods on Thursday, June 6. There also will be a late bus run at 1 p.m. Wednesday for students taking make-up exams.

CELL PHONE USAGE: All regular cell phone rules are in effect during final exams. Cell phones must be off and out of sight in classrooms, in academic hallways during exam periods, and in all other areas of the school previously identified to students during orientation. Please see your dean if you have questions.

CAFETERIA SERVICE:  There will be limited cafeteria service on exam days.

OFF-CAMPUS PRIVILEGES: Students without off-campus privileges who do not have a scheduled final exam do not need to sign out before they leave campus. We still encourage students to remain on campus to take advantage of resources in the Information and Learning Center. If students leave campus, they will no longer be under the supervision of Stevenson High School.

DRIVING/PARKING ON CAMPUS: Students may not drive or park on campus during school hours on final exam days unless they have a valid parking permit for the third marking period. There is a limited number of temporary, one-day parking permits available in Room 2400 for $3 per day. You must purchase these permits at least one day in advance.

INFORMATION AND LEARNING CENTER: Students may use the ILC when they do not have a scheduled exam. However, students are expected to remain in the ILC for the entire exam period. The ILC will be open from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4-5, and from 7 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 6. No library or tutoring services will be available after 11:15 a.m. Thursday, June 6.

TESTING CENTER: The Testing Center will be open during finals from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. every day. Students must be signed up for the period during which they come to the Testing Center. Click here to sign up to take a test in the Testing Center.

TEXTBOOK RETURN:

OPEN GYM: The Fitness Center will be open during exam periods only. Due to junior high school graduations, there will be no open gym during final exams. Physical Education make-ups in the Aquatic Center must be scheduled in advance. The Sports Center and Fieldhouse will be closed before school, after school, and during exam periods.

ACTIVITY BUSES: There will be no late buses (4:30 or 6:30 p.m.) on the three exam days.

All school rules are in effect on exam days.
