Volunteer Opportunities
When your child was in elementary and middle school, do you remember that first day of school when you were able to sign up to volunteer for everything from room mom to special lunch and everything in betweenω Then your child entered
STEVENSON and you were clueless as to how to help out — let alone if they wanted your help.
Well, guess whatω As Volunteer Coordinator, I am presented with requests for volunteers throughout the year. These requests may be a special one-time event and others may be long-term requests. I have requests for chaperoning trips as well as for working in the libraries and many other areas in the school.
During the registration process there was a form to fill out online specifying what volunteer areas might be of interest to you. Some of you may have missed that form so here is how you can register to get your name on the volunteer list:
Take a moment to register with in the Stevenson Volunteer Database (click here) and sign up for activities and events that interest you. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Once in the volunteer database, you will begin to receive requests for volunteer positions via email. These emails are generated based on various organization requests. If the request is something that you are able to help with, great — email me back and I will give you more information. If the request is something that you will not be able to help with, that is okay — I will try again when the next request comes through. The nice thing about this is that sooner or later a request will come through that will work for you.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at: (847)415-4122 or
via email.
ALWAYS CHECK OUR NEWS PAGE FOR CURRENT DATES AND NEEDS!! THANK YOU!!

SOPHOMORE – Bake Sale during Showcase (April);
JUNIOR – Prom Dessert Table (MAY);
SENIOR – Mr. SHS (April).

This dance is usually held the Friday or Saturday of the first week of school. Volunteers are needed to help with decorations, snacks and chaperoning the event.
